Pastoral Care

There are circumstances in life that require a pastor's help. During a crisis you may wish to speak to a pastor; times of bereavement, severe illness, personal and interpersonal conflict are examples. We are here to help. Please contact the church office to book a time with one of our pastoral staff at 519-894-5513.

Visitation Team

Do you know of someone who needs a hospital visit? Our Visitiation Team serves the Grandview community by visiting those who may be at risk during times of loneliness and/or sickness. Please contact us - we would love to arrange a visit.

Care-Meals Team

Sometimes just getting a meal on the table for your family seems overwhelming during a time of crisis. The Care-Meals Team can meet your family's need; whether during an illness, birth of a baby or family crisis, we want to support you so contact us.... We really do care! If you are in need of assistance please contact the church office at 519-894- 5513 ext 0. One of our care- meals team administrators will be in touch with you.

Bereavement Ministry

"Grieving may be the hardest work you have ever done. And hard work is less burdensome when others lend a hand"

The loss of a loved one can be quite traumatic. Healing takes time, yet with the proper support of others, it can be far less painful. We want to help you cope with the feelings you experience during a time of bereavement. If you are preparing for a loss in your family, please contact our Pastoral Staff, so that we can pray for you and help you through the process.

Please let us know when you suffer loss, so that we can connect you to the support you need during this difficult time. Contact us as soon as it is convenient at 519-894-5513. A pastor will connect with you and help you take the next steps.

If you are struggling with grief, the Coping Centre may be able to help.

There aren't many people around you who understand the pain your divorce or separation has caused. To you. To your family. To your friends.

DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. Don't go through separation or divorce alone.

DivorceCare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You'll gain access to valuable DivorceCare resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.

At DivorceCare you will be part of a small support group with others also experiencing separation or divorce. It's a place where you can be around people who understand what you are feeling. It's a place where you will learn valuable information about ways to heal from the hurt of divorce.

Your children are important to us! We have a special "DivorceCare for Kids" (DC4K), which runs at the same time as DivorceCare. Please contact us for details.
