Two Ways to Give Regularly
Using Offering Envelopes
You can request a set of offering envelopes from Denise Heard any time by emailing her at dheard@grandviewchurch.ca. Your envelopes will be delivered to your Grandview mailbox (if you have one), or at the Welcome Centre. You choose the frequency of your giving - weekly or monthly. A tax deductible receipt will be issued to you at the end of each year.
Using Pre-authorized Debit
Now you can say "goodbye" to cheques and envelopes, saving trees and time! Consider using Grandview's pre-authorized debit option, which is
- convenient, enabling you to make your offerings in the same way you manage your other financial obligations;
- voluntary and designed to make it easier for you to manage your financial contributions easy...subscribe, unsubscibe or change your banking information at any time;
- completely confidential.
To enrol, please complete a card found in the pew rack, and drop it in an offering plate on Sunday. Let us know about changes in your giving at any time. A tax deductible receipt will be issued to you at the end of each year.
Giving Special Gifts
You can give "one time" or "special gifts" at anytime by dropping a cheque in the offering plate. Ensure that your name and address is included on the cheque or envelope so that a tax receipt can be issued to you.
On Two Sundays a year (spring and fall) Grandview has a "special offering", which is designated for special projects.
Taking care of the resources that God has provided...
Our Finance Team has the responsibility of caring for the resources that God provides for ministry at Grandview. They assemble budgets, prepare financial statements and put a great deal of effort into maintaining a system of day-to-day checks and balances to ensure that financial gifts are well administrated.
Your Privacy Matters
At Grandview, we feel that the amount you give is an issue between you and God - we value your privacy. The amount you give is confidential. Only the person who issues your tax receipt knows your annual givings.
