121 in Pursuit Start each week off on the right foot with us at 121 in Pursuit! Every Sunday night, join students in grade 7 to 12 as we pursue the Person, the Deity, and the Glory of Jesus Christ!
We meet from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m Sunday nights!! A big part of our time together is connection through celebration in worship! Large group lessons, communal prayer, MindGames, PowerPlay Games, Grace & Grub, Close Encounter Speakers, and most importantly grade & gender specific small groups will all help to strengthen, encourage, & develop deep relationships with each other & Jesus Himself. Come join us at the main entrance, in the Worship Centre on Sunday nights at 6:00 pm. Students are welcome to arrive at 5:30pm in the Atrium for Mix & Meet!!
Youth Director Lisa Puersten has been actively involved since the day she first attended Grandview over 11 years ago. Her and her husband, Mike, have 2 teenagers themselves, and therefore, have a huge passion for this age group & all the challenges, excitement, drama, & rewards it entails!! Lisa is apparently 'obsessed' (such a strong word) with Starbucks and welcomes any parent, student or volunteer to meet at the green & white for a casual chat about the adventures in youth ministry!! BTW I like a Grande Bold with double half & half!! Just sayin is all!! Looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can!! |
