Refugee Immigration

At Grandview, we value serving others and caring for those in need, just as Jesus did. One unique way we can serve is by helping others to benefit from living in our country, and sharing what God has given to us.

Our Refugee Immigration Team aids refugees from foreign countries attempting to begin new lives in Canada. They help with the initial immigration, first through sponsorship and later with more tangible aid. The goal is to help refugees become self-sufficient members of Canadian society.

Current Refugee Immigration Team News

The Refugee Immigration Team has recently applied to sponsor a family that is currently in a South African refugee camp. The time frame from the application and the refugees' arrival can be up to 2 years or more. Our team will give further updates when the family has been accepted into the country, and when we know the family's arrival date. Stay tuned for details, as the Grandview family will be asked to be involved in providing furnishings, clothing, employment, and most importantly, prayer.
