Service Info & Other FAQs
WHAT ARE THE SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE TIMES?
Services start at 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM every Sunday and typically run between 70-80 minutes in length. Signing for the Deaf at the 9:00 AM Service.
ARE BOTH THE 9:00 & 11:00 SERVICES THE SAME?
Yes - Music and Teaching content is the same for both services. This makes it easier for families to serve in one service and attend the other!
WHAT STYLE OF SERVICE CAN I EXPECT?
Mostly contemporary, with a blend of traditional hymns and choruses. Song lyrics are projected on large front screens. Our worship service includes corporate singing, reading of scripture, prayer and Bible teaching.

HOW LONG ARE THE SERMONS?
Our Teaching time is typically 35-40 minutes in length depending on the week. Sermon note sheets are made available weekly in our bulletin.
IS THERE A 'DRESS CODE' FOR SUNDAY SERVICES?
There is no dress code for Sunday services at Grandview. Most people wear comfortable, casual clothing.
ARE CHILDREN'S SERVICES AVAILABLE?
Yes - Nursery programs are available when you arrive. Children up to Grade 6 worship with their parents and are invited to their own teaching time part way through the service.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the service time, to allow time for parking, check-in for Grandview Kids, and finding a seat in the Worship Centre.
WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A BIBLE WITH ME?
Bibles are available in the pew racks and Scripture references are typically projected on our front screens. If you would like to have your own copy of the Bible, please ask any of the service leaders and we'll be happy to provide you with one!
WHEN DO YOU SERVE COMMUNION?
We celebrate together around the Lord's Table on the first Sunday of every month. Those who wish to take communion are served by our ushers during the service.

DO YOU SERVE COFFEE?
Yes - Coffee and tea are served after each service. Be sure to stop by for a cup. This is a great opportunity for you to meet some new people!
WHAT ABOUT JUNIOR HIGH STUDENTS?
Students attend the first half of the worship service then head down to the youth room to a sermon time taught by their leaders. The first Sunday of every month students remain in the service for the entirety.
IS YOUR CAMPUS WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes - Both floors of the campus are wheelchair accessible from the exterior entrances or via the elevator in the Atrium. Accessible washrooms are also available.
