About the Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We believe that the originally written sixty-six books were verbally inspired by the Spirit of God, who moved men to write the very words of Scripture. We believe the Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

About God

We believe in one God who exists in three distinct and equal persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the absolute deity of Jesus Christ, the Second person of the Trinity, who became flesh to reveal God to mankind and then die on a cross as the Saviour of our lost world. We believe that he rose from the dead and he lives today.

About Salvation

We believe that salvation is by the grace of God. We believe that the blood Jesus Christ shed for us on the cross paid the full penalty for our sins, and provides the sole basis for God’s forgiveness. Salvation occurs when an individual places his or her faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for sin.

About the Church

We believe that the church is the Body of Christ, with Jesus Christ at the head. The members of this church are those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him completely and others sacrificially.
