Christmas Offering 2024

Consider partnering with us as we raise support for these global, national and local initiatives.

Sonrise Baby Home Hospital in Uganda

$30,000

Funds raised will go toward a new hospital being built near the baby homes in Uganda. The hospital will focus on prenatal/postnatal care and provide emergency birthing support for mothers in crisis. Sonrise Baby Home Hospital has already started its build phase, but they still need $234,000 to move toward completion.

Indigenous Bible Curriculum in Canadian Prisons

$15,000

Working alongside New Life Prison Ministries, the funds raised will help with the production and distribution of a series of bible studies, specifically designed for Indigenous prisoners within the Canadian prison system. Written by Randilynn, a Metis woman in Calgary, New Life Prison Ministries is working with this talented Indigenous Christian to create and produce bible studies that use Indigenous stories and the Scriptures to help prisoners hear about the good news of Jesus Christ. The first study on Creation has been created but more financial help is needed to distribute and develop additional resources in the future.

Refugee Care & Support

$25,000

As a church, we believe that we are called to care for the refugee and the persecuted Christian. As persecution of believers for their faith in Jesus rises in various parts of the world, we are convinced that care for the persecuted believer is a command in Scripture for the church. The funds raised will allow Grandview’s Refugee Team to prioritize and support a Christian pastor/believer and their family by bringing them to Canada. This is a continuation of an ongoing justice and compassion work that Grandview Church has engaged in over the past decade.

Please ensure your gift is designated as “Christmas Offering”.

Funds received will be distributed in the following order: Sonrise Baby Home Hospital, Indigenous Bible Curriculum in Canadian Prisons and Refugee Care & Support. Funds received over $70,000 will go to support Sonrise Baby Home Hospital.
